It’s important to keep up with your car’s AC repair and maintenance services over time. A car AC compressor can cause overheating of the car engine. If the compressor has seized up then the fan belt may not be moving freely, which in turn would affect the cooling system. The fan regulates and distributes the heat keeping the temperature in check.

To keep your vehicle’s cooling system – and engine – performing correctly, we recommend having your car’s air conditioning checked out at least once a year, preferably before the hottest days of summer. Or check your vehicle’s owner’s manual for recommendations.
